Harvesting Human Brains

From the Ironman at Political Calculations comes the report of a scandal in King County, Washington, involving the practice of the local medical examiner removing the brains of the deceased and selling them for $8,300 each to a research lab, all without the consent of the next of kin. It appears the malleability of ethical standards in the State of Washington knows no limits. What's next? Harvesting muscle tissue for animal feed?
