(via The Jawa Report) Intelligence gathered recently from the capture of Abu Faraj al-Libbi, purportedly al-Qaeda's No.3 man, has led to the demise of a senior terrorist operative. Haitham al-Yemeni, a known expert bomb maker, is with the virgins thanks to a missile fired from a CIA Predator aircraft.
Woo-hoo!
This is at least the third time that a senior enemy operative has been eliminated by a Predator-fired missile. Ali Qaed Sinan al-Harthi, linked to the USS Cole bombing, was killed along with five associates by a Predator missile in November 2002. In June 2004, Nek Muhammad, 27, a prominent tribal leader of South Waziristan who liked to give satellite telephone interviews to the BBC, was killed with five others by a missile concurrent with his last media gig.
