Proposed Base Closings

The official BRAC list has been released and Jeff Quinton is transcribing it from .pdf format. Below, I've transcribed the list for Ohio, divided into three groups.

After reviewing the entire list, it's notable that the Pentagon is closing finance and accounting facilities throughout the nation in an obvious consolidation effort. It also appears that an across-the-board reduction in satellite reserve centers, affecting almost every state, is planned. As an example, six of nine closures announced for Ohio are reserve centers.

One proposed closure I thought was quite interesting was the Submarine Base in New London, Connecticut. Personally, I was taken aback, thinking the place had more value.
