Woman Gets 33 months for Sex with Teen
(Austin, Minnesota) A 33-year-old former head of a children's theater, Carrie Parker, was sentenced to 33 months in prison for engaging in sex with a boy under 16. Parker admitted having sex with the boy while pleading guilty to four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Interestingly, Parker seemed contrite in stating that she made "a really big mistake." Unswayed, Mower County District Judge Donald Rysavy countered by stating, "The problem is not that you made an error in judgment, it is that you made an error in judgment that lasted a year and a half."
