(Waskom, Texas) A 29-year-old Social Studies teacher at Waskom Middle School, Tara Lynn Crisp, was arrested Tuesday to face charges of sexual assault of a child.

Crisp is accused of having sexual relations with a 14-year-old student at least three times within the past year. Authorities do not believe the sex occurred on school grounds, however, the invesigation in the case continues. The Harrison County Sheriff's office wants to assure that there are no other occurrences. Crisp is free on $75,000 bond.

In related news, two female teachers, Daryl Phillips and Ashley Grisham, at Waskom High School have been arrested for sex with students.
