Mom Gets 20 Years in Starving Death

(Beaumont, Texas) A mother who starved one of her children to death has been sentenced to 20 years in a Texas state prison. Through "nutritional deprivation and negligence," 22-year-old Tamecca Henderson allowed her 2-month-old daughter, Monique Pippillion, to die. Monique weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces, at birth and 4 pounds, 10 ounces, at death. It's not clear what is going to happen to Henderson's three other children.
