Louisiana Democrat Becomes Republican

(Baton Rouge) Louisiana District 68 State Representative William B. Daniel, IV, has changed his party affiliation from the Democratic Party to Republican. Daniel becomes the 40th Republican in the 105-member Louisiana House of Representatives.

A petroleum engineer by occupation, Daniel ran for Baton Rouge Mayor-President and served as the city-parish public works director.
