Teacher Arrested for Sex with Teen

(Garden City, Kansas) A 40-year-old English teacher at Garden City High School, Nadine Nunnelee, has been arrested for having sex with a 16-year-old male student. The alleged sex is believed to have occurred in her home. School officials have suspended Nunnelee with pay while the investigation of the alleged relationship continues.

Nunnelee was booked into the Finney County Jail with bond set at $15,000. According to Police Capt. Mike Utz, the alleged sexual relationship was discovered while police were investigating an unrelated runaway case.
