(West Jordan, Utah) Former American Sign Language teacher at Copper Hills High School, Melinda Lee Deluca, 29, has been charged with two counts of forcible sexual abuse of one of her students, a 16-year-old boy. The abuse is reported to have occurred at the teacher's house and at a baseball park near the school. As a result of the allegations, Deluca was fired from her teaching position last December.
She has been summoned to appear in court on March 16.
