Teacher Arraigned for Sex with Middle School Boys

(Washburn, Missouri) A 38-year-old substitute teacher, Shanna L. Angle, with the Southwest School District was arraigned Thursday for allegedly having sexual relations with two middle school students.

Angle is accused of having sex with one 13-year-old boy and improperly touching another 13-year-old boy. She faces two counts of first-degree child molestation, one count of first-degree statutory rape and one count of first-degree statutory sodomy.

Angle is free on $40,000 bond. If convicted, she faces penalties ranging from five to 30 years or life in prison.
