(Akron, Ohio) A former substitute teacher and assistant girls basketball coach at Firestone High School, Quanette Vales, was arrested yesterday on charges of having sex with a 15-year-old female student. Vales, 22, has been charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and sexual battery. She was released on $1,000 bond.

Vales pleads guilty.
