Boeing Plans Repair Facility in India

(Nagpur City, India) The Boeing Co. announced that it will outsource repair and overhaul of 777s, 787s and 737s to India. Up to $100 million will be spent on the facility which is part of a 68-plane sales deal with Air India.

I'm just speculating but if India can effectively repair and overhaul Boeing airplanes, how long will it take for them to have the capability of producing the airplanes?

This can't be good news to the aircraft workforce in the U.S. and the unions will likely be outraged.
