(Carrolton, Texas) In June, 25-year-old Spanish teacher at Hebron High School, Amy McElhenney, was arrested and charged with having an improper relationship with an 18-year-old student, a second-degree felony. McElhenney, a former Miss Bexar County beauty queen and contestant in the Miss Texas Beauty Pageant, posted $5,000 bond and was released.
Today, a Denton County grand jury declined to indict McElhenney for the alleged sex offense.
McElhenney's resolution is consistent with the cases of Debra Lafave and Pamela Rogers. The pretty ones seem to get little or nothing for their inappropriate behavior.
