(Perry, Georgia) A teenage baby sitter, Ashley Lynn Rouse, has been convicted by a jury yesterday of molesting an 8-year-old boy. Rouse was found guilty of molestation in two incidents that occurred in 2005 when she was a 17-year-old. In one incident, she fondled the boy. In another, Rouse exposed her breasts and had him show her his private parts. The boy was traumatized and requires counseling.
Superior Court Judge Edward D. Lukemire sentenced Rouse, now 19, to two years in the local jail and subsequent banishment from Houston County, Georgia. Rouse was also ordered to pay for the boy's counseling and serve eight years of probation.
