Boy Bomber Kills Soldier

(Khalidiyah, Anbar Province, Iraq) A 13-year-old boy, either knowingly or having been tricked, detonated a bomb he was carrying, killing himself and an Iraqi soldier. It's believed that the child was duped by terrorist elements not native to the Anbar Province since local tribes would not sanction the practice.

The incident is the second child bombing attack in recent months. It also indicates a trend.
