(Tucson, Arizona) Imagine sitting on the toilet in your home and having a rat crawl up through the sewer pipe into your bowl. I'd prefer not to. Even so, that's exactly what's happening in Tucson.
From KOLD.com:
Residents in one Tucson neighborhood are learning to look before they sit.Frankly, does it matter what color the rat is? Does it make it less horrifying that your cajones are being nibbled on by a white rodent? I think not.
For the past ten years, small white rats have been swimming their way up into toilets in the Blenman-Elm Neighborhood just east of the University of Arizona.
Laura Hagen Fairbanks with Pima county's Wastewater Management Department says the rodents are of the white lab-rat variety.
Also, where rats go, snakes usually follow. Should we soon expect snakes in the bowl?
