(Missouri City, Texas) A 30-year-old former teacher and coach at Hightower High School, Kimberly Dawn Hollis, was arrested this week for allegedly engaging in a months-long sexual affair with a 15-year-old female student. The alleged victim came forward to alert police on January 9th and Hollis resigned her position with the Fort Bend Independent School District on January 12th. No sexual misbehavior reportedly occurred on school grounds.
Hollis was booked on a charge of improper relationship between an educator and a student, a second-degree felony. Bond was set at $20,000.
