(Colorado Springs, Colorado) A 31-year-old female former security officer at the Zeb Pike Detention Center, Erin Hutchinson, was arrested last week for allegedly engaging in sex with a 14-year-old inmate in 2005. An investigation was launched in early 2006 and Hutchinson was fired from her position in July.
Hutchinson faces charges of sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust. She was booked into custody with bond set at $10,000.
