Dog Shot and Man Killed
(Phoenix, Arizona) Someone shot a bulldog and left him for dead in a desert area of Maricopa County outside Phoenix. The dog is tough, he took two slugs and survived. A $5,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
Meanwhile, in nearby Mesa, AZ, cold case police officers are seeking a lead in the killing of David Elbert Reed, 52, who was discovered dead in his truck on October 16, 2005. A $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
Doing the math, shooting a dog is five times more outrageous than shooting a man.
