Louisiana Teacher Accused of Sex with Girl

(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) A 23-year-old science teacher at Tara High School, Jamie Lynn Armstrong, was arrested last week for allegedly engaging in sexual relations with a 16-year-old female student.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, Armstrong had sex with the girl on at least three occasions, one of which occurred at the school. She has been placed on paid administrative leave as the school investigates.

Last Thursday, Armstrong was booked into Parish Prison on counts felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. On Friday, she was released on $20,000 bond.

It's noteworthy that Armstrong is not an athletics coach which, arguably, is often the case when a teacher allegedly lesbianizes a student.
