(Newark, New Jersey) A 31-year-old English teacher at Newark Boys Chorus School, Tracy Booth, was arrested yesterday for allegedly engaging in sex at her home and at a hotel with a 13-year-old boy. The state Division of Youth and Family Services received an anonymous tip and alerted the authorities.
Booth has been charged with aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment. According to the prosecutor's office, additional charges may be forthcoming.
Booth was booked into custody with bond set at $200,000.
