Officer Shoots Intruder Dead

(Roseville, California) Preliminary reporting has been sketchy.

The police were called to a home on Sierra Gardens Drive in Roseville just before 10 p.m. Tuesday. The resident of the home, an off-duty law enforcement officer with a different agency, said she came home and found a man in her bedroom.

The two fought, and the officer shot the man twice in the head, killing him.

Looks like a clean shoot but we need to know more. For example, if the intruder turned out to be her husband, I would be suspicious. In any event, the double-tap to the head is notable.
