Switchable Shoes for Driving

From the UK comes the idea of shoes that transform their shape at the push of a button, going from heeled to flat in an instant.

They were created to solve the problem that women have of sometimes wearing the wrong type of shoe when driving. There's general agreement that stilettos aren't well suited for driving and it's illegal in some places to drive barefoot.

Being from the laces school of footwear, I haven't the foggiest idea where the pushbutton is.
