(Queens, New York) Last May, a 55-year-old teacher's aide at PS196, Lois Cheryl Enden, was arrested for allegedly raping an 11-year-old boy repeatedly eight years ago. The boy, now a teen, remembered the abuse after a chance sighting of Enden. Enden was booked on multiple counts of rape and sodomy.
Yesterday, Enden pleaded guilty.
The teacher's aide, Lois Enden, who earned about $13 an hour working in the school cafeteria and helping children get on and off buses, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape before Queens Criminal Court Judge Pauline Mullings. The judge indicated she would sentence Enden, 56, to six months in jail and five years of probation.And for the ethical breach and violation of the law, Enden gets six months. Jeez, I wonder what a male teacher would have received for raping an 11-year-old girl.
District Attorney Richard Brown said Monday that Enden, an aide at Public School 196 since about 1990, had "betrayed her position of trust" by taking advantage of a young student in April 2000 and having sex with him after school.
"The defendant's conduct is not simply a violation of law but of society's innate code of ethics," Brown said in a statement.

She lived & still is at 99-21 67th Road #3C, Flushing.When they converted from rental to co-op she & her husband & some of the other fraudster criminals in the building such as Rose Schlareth & later her husband George & another woman divorced woman living on the other side of the hallway from the latter by the last name Ammer, took over the finances of the buid mortg & f-ed it up,ran it as their own, not paying 4 living there, instead, Enden's daughter & her multiple "boyfriends" & other criminal friends lived in the apartments 4 free declaring those apartments empty on books. The electric is included & no one checked the books.Those families must be all in jail.They bragged to be a mob, to know the ppl in local precinct - 119, judges, etc.They discriminated & life threaten a handicapped woman in the same building for many, many years, back & forth to courts & spreading constant fear of physical retaliation. Convicted child molester Lois Sheril Enden's husband, who was the director of the co-op board, Stanly Enden, knew very well what his wife was doing. Her grown children at that time knew too. She didn't molest 11 y. old boy constantly & continuously only in the school, which's only a couple of blocks away, but she took him to their apartment regularly. How didn't they know? She pleaded guilty not b/c she went & gave herself away but b/c the law enforcement wired the boy & caught her that way. Her grown son - Evan & fat obnoxious, shaggy-up daughter were by her side - on her side!!! What does it tell you? They didn't know & if knew they'd not "like" it? Think again!!! If someone can be on anybody's side who's confessing of such vile, double crime they automatically become the part of it. The whole family - the 4 of them, kids out of high school at that time living in the same apartment when the crime was being committed - should go to jail! But... no, they really, really knew the law enforcement & the judges in the court to get 6 months only. What kind of shitty- shit justice is that?!!! She was trusted w/ kids, telling ppl she was a "teacher"but she was cafeteria lunch assistant. walking around as married woman w/children.Her husband was a fraudster: evasive, rude, cautious & vicious, ripped off the entire mortgage money of build. by declaring "bankruptcy' drug-dealing too. Vile Lois Enden was refreshing her makeup a few times a day. She'd go out after 12am w/ freshly painted scary face.Everyone knew the woman was up 2 no good.Always w/ thick, dark sunglasses, even a freezing winder nights. She never even would nad "hello"2 anyone & go around w/ cavort dead stare rolling her eyes down & around like "go away, I'm doing some shit & I don't like you & I can strike!"

Many residents of the building called Attorney general's office of NY, the cops, politicians, papers, etc. for many years till they gave up b/c no one did anything b/c no one who had legal power & jurisdiction were interested 2 do anything, which means they rang from corrupted 2 criminals themselves!
only six months for molesting an innocent 11 y. old boy continuously in the school & in her apartment is not enough. That's what called "rotten justice." Also under the NY law, sex offenders must live a sertain distance away from schools. Not only she continued to live a couple of blocks away from PS 196, but that is where she molested that child. Many of the build presidents' calls to authorities were ignored so you can do the math how that area is run politically & legally. You do the math if you want to keep your family safe!
