Georgia School Counselor Accused of Sex with Student
(Montgomery County, Georgia) A 34-year-old guidance counselor at Montgomery County High School, Carrie O'Connor, has been arrested and indicted for allegedly engaging in sex with a 16-year-old male student in December 2006. Reportedly, she was caught in the act in a classroom.
O'Connor faces one count of sexual assault. She was booked and released on $20,000 bond.
Interestingly, O'Connor's mother, Dale Clark, is the Montgomery County Schools Superintendent and allegations of ethical violations regarding the handling of her daughter's case have surfaced. Clark is being investigated by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
