Georgia Trio Accused of Child Molestation

(Peachtree City, Georgia) On August 13th, a man and two women were arrested by Peachtree City Police for child molestation involving a three-year-old.

Police Chief Jim Murray indicated that Paul Graffeo, 39, Jody Graham, 43, and Lauren Barchi, 22, allegedly engaged in sexually explicit photo sessions in front of a three-year-old boy. The photos are believed to have been taken between September 1, 2005, and September 1, 2006, at Graffeo's home.
According to Murray, police received information from a man who said he found sexually explicit pictures in a desk used by Graffeo, and turned them over to police.

"The pictures showed sexual explicit acts between two women, and the young boy was right next to them," said Murray.

Murray said the Peachtree City Police Crimes Against Children Unit was able to identify the house where the pictures were taken, and the two women in the photographs.

The father of the three-year-old, 34-year-old Micah Burns, is also a suspect in the case. Burns was arrested in Michigan and is awaiting extradition in the Bay County Jail.

Initially, Fayette County Magistrate Bob Ruppenthal denied bond since the three are considered a threat to the public. At a followup bond hearing yesterday, Graffeo's bond was set at $250,000 and for Graham and Barchi, $150,000. Bond conditions include no contact with children nor witnesses and Graffeo must remain under house arrest with a GPS monitor.

The investigation continues. There is a fear that the photos, reportedly multiple in number, might have been posted on the Internet.
