Netroots Diversity: Not at YearlyKos

(Chicago) The heralded netroots resource has been called a most diverse group of ordinary Americans which partially explains why all the Democrat politicians kiss Kos keister.

However, the truth is, and it shouldn't be a big surprise, that the overwhelming majority of attendees at YearlyKos are "white liberal males (WLM)." Only a handful of the 1,500 conventioneers are other than WLMs and no more than 5 percent of the scheduled workshops and panels deal with minority or women's issues.

Keep it in mind when you hear about Internet grass-roots diversity.
