(Ray County, Missouri) A contracted caregiver for Ray County Community Services, Rachelle Leslie, has been accused of theft while performing her duties for a mentally-challenged patient.According to authorities, Leslie allegedly stole a Wal-Mart gift card from the patient during a home visit and subsequently used the card to purchase over $100 worth of merchandise.
Ray County sits about 25 miles northeast of Kansas City.
It just jacks my jaws when supposedly compassionate do-gooders turn out to be nothing more than opportunistic petty criminals.
