Cheer Coach Gets One Month in Sex Case

(Powhatan County, Virginia) Last month, a 37-year-old cheerleading coach at Dominion Cheer and Tumble in Midlothian, Tammie Fleming, was arrested for allegedly engaging in an intimate relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

The relationship reportedly had been ongoing for several months. Fleming was charged with taking indecent liberties with a minor.

This week, Fleming was sentenced.

Former cheerleading coach Tammie Fleming of Powhatan has been sentenced on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

She was sentenced to 12 months in jail, with 11 months suspended.
