Drunk Teacher Arrested at School

(Leesburg, Virginia) A 56-year-old reading teacher at Sterling Middle School, Mary Ann Livoti, was arrested this week at school on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol.

School employees reportedly noticed that Livoti was intoxicated and contacted Loudoun County law enforcement authorities. Police arrived and the arrest was made just after 11 AM. Investigators made the determination that Livoti was, in fact, under the influence.

Livoti has been booked on a charge of being drunk in public. The school system placed her on administrative leave.
