(Las Vegas, Nevada) A 24-year-old family services specialist for Clark County Department of Family Services, Shajuan Ashley Bush, was arrested this week for child neglect. The child in question was not under the care of Child Protective Services and is believed to be Bush's own three-month-old infant.
According to KLAS TV:
[A] maintenance worker had entered Bush's apartment Thursday afternoon to make repairs and discovered a 3-and-a-half month old infant alone inside the apartment. County officials say that child is now safe, unharmed and in protective custody.Bush was booked into custody at the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of child neglect.
