(Georgetown, Ohio) A 30-year-old Brown County woman, Crystal Smith, was arrested last Friday for engaging in sex with a 15-year-old neighborhood boy. The sex resulted in pregnancy and a child being born last March. Smith's arrest came on a charge of unlawful sex with a minor.
Sheriff Dwayne Wenninger said his office was contacted by a case worker from Brown County Jobs and Family Services Children's Division concerning an incident that allegedly occurred in June 2006 when the woman was 28-year-old.The baby is in the care of the Brown County Jobs and Family Services Children's Division.
Smith was booked into custody at the Brown County Jail and released Sunday after posting $5,000 bond.
