Deportee Returns, Shoots at Police Officer
(Raleigh, North Carolina) Previously deported illegal alien Hector Hernandez returned to North Carolina and was apprehended for shooting at an off-duty Raleigh Police officer in 2007. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and prosecuted in federal court.
Besides being a previously deported illegal alien and shooting (attempted murder?) at a police officer, Hernandez was found in possession of a .389 Taurus semi-automatic handgun.
Yesterday, it was announced that Hernandez has been sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge Louise W. Flanagan to 33 months in federal prison.
Obviously, I report these stories to demonstrate the futility of deportation when the U.S. border is imaginary.
