Medical Mistake: New Anus Instead of Knee Repair

Doctor No. 1 - "Haben zee Papers?"

Doctor No.2 - "Ja. Vee haff zee Papers! Wir machen Poopenschaft."

"Poopenschaft machen? Ach du lieber!"

"Ja. Es ist eine Poopenschaft."

Doctors 1 and 2 singing - "Das ist eine Poopenschaft!"
"Ja, est is eine Poopenschaft."

"Poopenschaft! HMO! Poopenschaft! HMO!"
"Es ist eine Poopenschaft."

"Geben sie mir eine Beer. Wir machen eine Poopenschaft."

Levity aside, the clinic made a mistake and gave the woman an artificial anus instead of repairing her knee. Apparently, they had one in stock.

I find this all very interesting since I didn't know there was such a thing as an artificial anus. However, I'm not ignorant to the need -- having met a number of individuals who were so full ot it that an alternative waste outlet would be an improvement.

Nevertheless, it's unknown how someone confused a knee and an anus. It also seems somewhat imprudent to subject a 78-year-old woman to major surgery -- mistaken or otherwise. And, I would definitely call reaming somebody a new a**hole major surgery.
