Georgia Woman Accused of Murder, Kidnapping

(Decatur, Georgia) A 33-year-old local woman, Tamesha Suarez (aka Tameisha), was arrested this week for allegedly killing 24-year-old Alisha L. Spencer and kidnapping Spencer's 5-month-old baby, Precious Diamond Spencer.

Alisha Spencer was found dead of gunshot wounds on Monday outside a house in Atlanta.

Suarez and Spencer were reportedly neighbors on Daisy Drive in south DeKalb County.

Suarez rented the Daisy Drive home and lived there with a man and her seven children, said the owner of the house, Juanita Brazzell. The youngest child was born three weeks ago. Brazzell did not know Spencer.

Brazzell described Suarez as quiet and polite and her children as well-mannered. The property owner said she was shocked to see her tenant on the news.

Shocked? It doesn't make sense. Suarez already has seven children, why another?

Suarez was booked into custody at the DeKalb County Jail without bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 12th.
