Marijuana for Compost

(Iowa City, Iowa) A 30-year-old local man, Matthew Aaron Furnish, was arrested Saturday for alleged possession of drugs after police found "several large trash bags of marijuana at his property."

Furnish has been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.
Furnish told police he knew the marijuana was there and that he uses it for compost at the garden at the same location.
Obviously, Furnish thinks that police officers are complete idiots. He's wrong.

Also, I'd like to know what substance failed to display a tax stamp. Maybe he had some illegal tobacco?
