Flying Fruit Dislodges Breast Implant

(Las Cruces, New Mexico) A woman reported to police that her right breast was sinking and migrating leftward after being struck in the chest by a piece of flying fruit. The woman did not name the individual(s) who threw the fruit.

Las Cruces police logged a plastic apple into evidence.
The woman reported that on June 24 she was at the swimming pool of the La Quinta Inn, 790 Avenida de Mesilla in Las Cruces, when she was struck in the chest, apparently by a plastic apple.

According to the report, the woman was in the pool with several other individuals who were throwing pieces of plastic fruit they obtained from the hotel.

"I don't care what you do. I just can't get hit," the woman said she told the individuals.

Later on when police arrived, the woman said her right breast was sinking down and to the left.
As a layman, it's not clear to me how a breast implant could easily move, indicating that the woman was probably hit hard. Either that or the implant wasn't properly glued or stapled into place.

Note that I've seen the breast implant operation on TV but the image always gets fuzzy when when the silicone package is inserted so I'm not sure how the thing is supposed to stay in place. Also note that dislodging or rupturing of breast implants is considered the most rare complication of breast augmentation.
