Ohio Woman Accused in Murder-for-Hire Plot

(Mount Orab, Ohio) A 49-year-old local woman, Stephanie Stolz, was arrested last Thursday for allegedly arranging for a contract killer to murder her estranged husband, 57-year-old Clyde Stolz.

Stolz has been charged with conspiracy, complicity and attempt to commit aggravated murder.

Investigators said a Mount Orab police lieutenant got information that Stolz was looking for a hitman.

Deputies set up a meet with Stolz at a grocery store parking lot, where they said she gave an undercover officer money to kill her husband.

Stolz was booked into custody at the Brown County Detention Center.
