Pennsylvania Woman Guilty of Raping Boy, 11

(Erie, Pennsylvania) In October 2007, a 28-year-old local woman, Carrie L. Dana, was arrested and charged for the alleged repeated rapes of an 11-year-old boy. Dana faced multiple counts of child sex crimes.

Earlier today, an Erie County jury convicted Dana of felony counts of rape, indecent assault of a child younger than age 13, and a misdemeanor count of corruption of minors. The jury had deliberated for approximately five hours before returning a verdict.

Sentencing has been scheduled for August 20th.
