Blacks Abandoning San Francisco

(San Francisco, California) According to the African American Out-Migration Task Force, blacks are leaving the city at an alarming rate. The task force blames discrimination, substandard schools, a lack of affordable housing and the dearth of jobs and black culture.

The black population in San Francisco decreased from 13.4 percent in 1970 to 6.5 percent in 2005.
