Mass. Woman Gets Probation for Rape of Boy

(Springfield, Massachusetts) A 31-year-old local woman, Joy Christian, pleaded guilty yesterday to statutory rape of a 13-year-old boy in accordance with an agreement with the prosecution.

As a result, Christian was sentenced by Hampden Superior Court Judge Bertha D. Josephson to two years of probation.
