New Teacher Arrested as Fugitive Car Thief

(Davidson County, North Carolina) A 42-year-old teacher hired by Davidson County Schools, Arlene Denetta Hudson, failed her background check and was arrested as a fugitive wanted in Maryland.

Hudson is wanted by Maryland State Police for involvement in a September 2005 theft of a motor vehicle from a Toyota dealership in Westminster, MD.

Hudson was booked into custody with bond set at $50,000.
