Wisconsin Teacher Arrested Again for Drugs - Updated

(Elkhorn, Wisconsin) Former second-grade teacher Katie M. Luessenhop appeared in court on February 25th and pleaded not guilty to drug charges stemming from the September 2008 incident.

Subsequently, Luessenhop was arrested on March 7th for felony bail jumping by violating a no contact order and being found in possession of heroin.

She was booked into custody and released on March 11 on $11,000 bond. A court appearance is scheduled for March 17.

Wisconsin Teacher Collared for Cocaine

(Walworth, Wisconsin) A 26-year-old second-grade teacher at Walworth Elementary School, Katie Luessenhop, has been arrested for allegedly possessing cocaine.

Police responded to a disturbance at the school's parking lot and allegedly found drugs allegedly belonging to Luessenhop.

Luessenhop just began teaching at the Walworth school three weeks ago. According to District Administrator Pamela Knorr, Luessenhop is now on an indefinite leave of absence.

Luessenhop was booked into custody and released on $5,000 signature bond. A court appearance has been scheduled for next month.
