Woman Accused of Obscenity

(Bossier City, Louisiana) A 37-year-old local woman, Christie Hemler Semeraro, was arrested last Sunday for allegedly riding topless in a boat on the Red River in full view of people on the river and the beach.

Bossier County Sheriff's Marine Patrol deputies made the arrest about a mile south of the Jimmie Davis Bridge.

Semeraro was booked into custody at the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and later released on $5,150 bond. She faces charges of obscenity and disturbing the peace.

Jeez, I wonder if the radical Breasts Not Brains Bombs crowd ever thought about demonstrating in Bossier City.

In related news, Semeraro is scheduled to go on trial October 18th in Bossier District Court for contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. She was arrested last January after a complaint was filed by a parent alleging the "12- and 13-year-olds drank and engaged in sexual activity at Semeraro's home and that she was there and condoned it."

So, the plot thickens.
