Woman Arrested for Sex Abuse of Friend's Daughter

(Harvey, Illinois) A 30-year-old Harvey woman, Valencia Sephus, was arrested last Thursday for the alleged sexual abuse of a friend's 15-year-old daughter.

Sephus has been charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Sephus was booked into custody with bond set by Judge John Hynes at $250,000.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for October 2.
