Gaza Tunnels Destroyed

(Cairo, Egypt) Ten tunnels from Egypt into the Gaza Strip were destroyed today by Egyptian forces.

Israeli media reported last week that Egypt security, aided by American experts and equipment, had recently detected 42 such tunnels, which smugglers use to traffic food, fuel and arms, Israel says.

A Palestinian smuggler told AFP last week that Hamas takes a percentage of profits made by smugglers, but tells them they are not allowed to traffic drugs and arms.

Yeah, I’ll believe a smuggler.
