Texas Kindergarten Teacher Busted for Meth

(Houston, Texas) A 28-year-old kindergarten teacher at Montgomery Elementary School, Emiley Weaks, was arrested yesterday for possession of methamphetamine.

Weaks was apprehended when she was pulled over for a traffic stop as she was leaving school property.

Montgomery ISD Superintendent Dr. Jim Gibson said parents have been notified of the incident and Weaks will not be employed at the district any longer.

Weaks has been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. She was booked into custody and released on $1,500 bond.
