(Georgetown, Guyana) The Dynamic Aviation Group of Bridgewater, Virginia, announced that one of its King Air aircraft is missing in the Amazon jungle of Guyana.
Two Americans, Wes Barker and Chris Paris, and a Canadian were on board. The trio was conducting geophysical uranium mining surveys for a Canadian company.
The search is being managed by the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority and involves four aircraft and two helicopters. A unit with the British air force, which had been undergoing jungle training in the country, has also become involved.Ground officials lost contact with the plane in the interior of Guyana, near Venezuela, about midday Saturday.
