(Detroit, Michigan) A 69-year-old business owner, Leroy Moon, has been accused of shooting and killing a 36-year-old man who was urinating on his property.
The victim's identity is still being withheld by authorities.Facing first-degree murder charges, Moon was booked into custody without bond.
The shooting happened at around 7 p.m. Tuesday, but the motive for the shooting is unclear, police said.
The victim was relieving himself when the owner of the business told his companion, "Go get my gun," Detroit Police spokesman James Tate said.
The owner's friend fetched the weapon as requested and the owner fired at the victim, Tate said.
Moon then fled, according to police. He later was arrested.
