Smoking on Plane Nets 30 Lashes

(Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) A local court has sentenced a Sudanese man to 30 lashes for refusing to extinguish a cigarette he was smoking on a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight. The sentence is undeniably harsh when one considers that the Saudis send terrorists to rehab.

It must be a Sharia thing.
